Cultural

One’s culture consists of the beliefs, behaviors, objects, and other characteristics common to the members of a particular group or society. Cultural building block is client influenced that will inspire all young people to find their passions and achieve their goals. We believe that all youth should have access to be heard. Healthy relationships share certain characteristics that teens should be taught to expect. Respect for both oneself and others is a key characteristic of healthy relationships. Building positive youth and adult relationships while maintaining open lines of communication is the key to healthy relationships. As we strive to change negative climates and intolerance to become positive and celebratory, youth may not be equipped with the necessary skills to develop and maintain healthy relationships, this is where we will emphasize character building, positive body image, mental and emotional wellbeing and peer support as key aspects to youth empowerment.
